Some readers of my new thriller Dead on the Wind report reading the novel in a single evening! This is astounding, for it tells me that the reader is really interested and that the book is well enough constructed, with enough resonance, to hold a reader's attention from the first to the last page. Thanks. But slow it down. The 240-page book really does hold up if you want to devour it in say, two or even three sessions.
